The database coordinator is responsible for the entering, tracking, reporting of gifts, pledges, payments of the Arizona Jewish Historical Society (AZJHS). We are seeking a friendly, well-organized, detail-oriented database coordinator to administer and manage the Donor Perfect Online (DPO) database.  The individual should be a team player, willing to assist with daily operations when necessary.  

  • Perform the day-to-day data entry, tracking and reporting of pledges and gifts, and acknowledgements for AZJHS fund development and the Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center (HFHEC) capital campaign
  • Acknowledge gifts within 48 hours
  • Prepare membership renewal tracking system, reports, and membership mailings, including, but not limited to renewal and newsletters
  • Work hand-in-hand and develop reports, for Capital Campaign Consultant, of all gifts, pledges, payment installments and payments daily
  • Track responses from direct mail 
  • Work with direct mail printer to provide accurate, complete lists and coordinate and prepare mailing lists for direct mail, newsletters, etc

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in related field and/or minimum of two (2) years of previous database experience (DPO preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Outstanding attention-to-detail and proactive approach to managing time-sensitive tasks and completing workloads
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping, chart of accounts and classes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to work with a variety of constituents and in new situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player
