Position description
Are you an experienced fundraiser with a passion for women’s empowerment? Join our dynamic nonprofit team committed to helping women thrive through education, careers, and financial self-sufficiency.
The Development Manager will fundraise, build community awareness, and work with our supporters to secure necessary funding and resources for our program. Our Development team works together to raise $1.2million annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Donors (40%):
- Manage annual fundraising campaigns and appeals.
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors.
- Implement donor recognition and stewardship programs.
- Oversee donor communications and database management (Little Green Light).
- Events Management (40%):
- Plan and execute the annual Hope Blooms Brunch signature fundraising event.
- Manage event logistics, marketing, and volunteer coordination.
- Organize donor cultivation and fundraising events.
- Handle event platforms for donations, tickets, sponsorships, and auctions.
- Corporate and Civic Engagement (15%):
- Engage with local groups, corporations, and communities for donations, drives, sponsorships, and grants.
- Other Development Tasks (5%):
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related field.
- Proven fundraising success, including securing gifts, grants, and sponsorships.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques.
- Proficient in donor management software and fundraising platforms.
