The Nonprofit Management Institute provides immediately usable knowledge and tools for you to become a skilled nonprofit professional. To participate in the Nonprofit Management Institute, you may choose to do any of the following:

Since 1999, the ASU Lodestar Center’s Nonprofit Management Institute (NMI) has filled a unique educational niche by helping hundreds of working adults reach their professional development goals. 

With online and in-person certificate programs, NMI is dedicated to building the capacity for those who lead, manage and support nonprofit organizations. The professional development certificates offered through NMI provide you with an unparalleled opportunity to develop and enhance your leadership and management skills that you need to make your organization thrive and grow.

Certificates are open to individuals of all educational backgrounds and levels of experience. The majority of participants have already earned associates, bachelors, masters or professional degrees, but degree completion is not a prerequisite. Mostly, NMI participants share a common interest in seeking high-quality, applicable management knowledge and tools in an adult-learning environment.
