The primary focus of this position is on identifying, cultivating and acquiring appropriate annual fund donors and prospects. This individual assists in managing a matrix of solicitation and communication strategies all focused at shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support. Responsible for expanding the donor base, increasing awareness of giving clubs, matching gift programs and executing best in class stewardship strategies. Responsible for assisting the Annual Giving Department in reaching assigned yearly goals.
- Actively manage a prospect portfolio with annual goals for personal visits and giving outcomes based on established metrics.
- Assist with the production and implementation of appeal campaigns and other fundraising communications and strategies as directed by the Supervisor.
- Qualify prospects and manage prospect disposition for the best on-going philanthropic support of the hospital, moving prospects to the major gift team as/when appropriate; implements strategies to identify and qualify new prospects, makes discovery calls and builds a prospect pool based on new prospects and existing donors. Establish and conduct consistent and meaningful contact and on-going stewardship activities with prospects and donors.
- Enters and maintains data in RE to ensure accurate and thorough tracking of donors, potential donors, and results of fund-raising activities. Provides continuing communication with regard to production, results and evaluation of effectiveness of activities. Acts as a liaison with assigned departments and/or programs at HonorHealth to improve the capacity for fund-raising, communication and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years fundraising or related experience
