26th Annual Nonprofit Conference on Sustainability Strategies

Attendees renewed, refreshed, and affirmed their roles in the social sector at the 26th Annual Nonprofit Conference, October 25th at the Black Canyon Conference Center in Phoenix, Ariz.

The conference celebrates over 25 years of providing education, knowledge and tools to help build the capacity of the nonprofit community.

During the conference, attendees:

  • Chose from OVER 25 highly-engaging workshops presented by our community's most influential leaders.
  • Networked with nonprofit professionals, board members, philanthropists, funders, community volunteers and business leaders.
  • Were inspired by our opening session with Gloria Feldt. Learn more about her in the video here.
  • Learned how some of our community's most inspiring leaders took charge of their future during our luncheon panel. 
  • Discovered what some of our leading Arizona nonprofit organizations are doing to improve our communities and found ways to get involved. 

Also, the ASU Lodestar Center and Valley Leadership presented a first-ever joint exhibition fair with some of our region’s nonprofit organizations that are tackling the most critical issues facing Arizona. The afternoon’s Nonprofit Around-the-World Fair gave attendees an opportunity to learn how leading Arizona nonprofit organizations are improving our communities and to discover ways to get involved.

Powerful speakers

Our plenary speaker was New York Times bestselling author and visionary leader Gloria Feldt, who spoke on achieving your bold and audacious goals. Later, community leaders engaged in thought-provoking dialogue during their panel conversation "How We Took Charge of Our Future: An Inspiring Conversation with the Region's Top Leadership Programs."
