Rev. Erin Tamayo
Rev. Erin Tamayo is a Nonprofit Professional, Faith-Rooted Community Organizer, Bilingual Educator, Interfaith Community Leader, and an Ordained Pastor of the Presbyterian Church (USA). She holds degrees in Bilingual Education and Spanish with an MA in Multicultural Education/ ESL and a Masters of Divinity Degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Rev. Tamayo most recently has served as the Program Coordinator for the Afghan AUW Student Program for ASU Global Launch and is now serving as program lead for an Open Society University Network Course on Information and Media Literacy.
She has also served as a Nonprofit Professional for over seven years: as a Faith Rooted Organizer for CLUE-LA in Los Angeles; as the Phoenix Interfaith and Community Organizer for the OUR Walmart campaign; and as the Executive Director at Arizona Faith Network. She is currently a board member for United Religions Initiative, North America, and volunteers to support a variety of local nonprofits.
Erin is a Best Skills Best Churches Certificate graduate and holds additional certificates in Nonprofit Management, Marketing and Strategic Communications, Fundraising and Sustainable Financial Management and Operations and Program Impact from ASU Lodestar’s Nonprofit Management Institute.
