Cindie Hubiak
Cindie Hubiak brings a vast amount of experience and passion to share with others. She serves on three industry boards: a mutual fund, a national community news organization and an international organization that offers assessment tools to reveal human potential. She recently retired from her dream job as President & CEO of the Arizona Society of CPAs (ASCPA) after more than 20 years.
The ASCPA is one of the largest membership organizations in Arizona. Cindie coordinated bi-annual strategic planning meetings, significantly grew the government relations programs, increased contributions to the Political Action Committee, simplified the governance structure, coordinated volunteer programs, implemented virtual communities, rebranded the organization, provided education, scholarships and other activities with the assistance of 10 staff and 18 board members.
Cindie’s career took her overseas twice to work as General Manager of a manufacturing plant in Singapore and as European Controller. She also worked with one of the largest public accounting firms until she left the organization as Tax Manager.
As Director of Human Resources and Administration for an international company employing 1,500 people, Cindie implemented training and compensation programs, worked with the media and set up a foundation that provided scholarships and volunteer opportunities for employees.
Her volunteer experience includes past board chair of the ASCPA, serving on a national CPA board, national committees and on Arizona’s Board for Private Postsecondary Education. Cindie serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
Cindie has been named one of the top women in business and the community in Arizona. She is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution and received her B.S. in Accounting and her MBA from Arizona State University. She held a CPA certificate for more than 40 years.
The Arizona hiking trails bring Cindie time to reflect on life, as does her regular meditation practice. Her travels took her to all seven continents. She values listening to others and assisting them to find answers.
