The Administrative Assistant position at Teen Lifeline provides administrative and operational support to our programs. This person will complete various tasks under the guidance of the Operations Coordinator, including managing materials and facility inventory, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and helping with the preparation of meetings and organizational events.
Organized and adaptable, this person should enjoy collaborating and interacting with all staff and volunteers on various projects as needed. This could include data entry, record keeping, and assisting with fund development and programmatic needs. They should be someone who enjoys being the first point of contact.
Teen Lifeline has been on the front lines of suicide prevention in Arizona for the past 38 years. We work to provide essential support for teens throughout Arizona with our peer-to-peer crisis hotline, suicide prevention education and outreach in schools and the community, our Life Skills Development program for our teen volunteers, and our recently implemented Caring Contacts program that supports teens after a psychiatric emergency. Our vision is that all youth possess a sense of connectedness and hope for their future by working to prevent teen suicide in Arizona through enhancing resiliency in youth and fostering supportive communities.

- Compensation - $18.50/hour, based on experience

Qualifications
- Requires two years of related experience in handling office/administrative responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including expertise in Excel and Word. Familiarity with data management systems and office equipment is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with Teen Lifeline’s many constituencies, including vendors, donors, community partners, and teen volunteers.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a non-profit/behavioral health environment is preferred.
