A New Leaf is seeking an experienced and passionate Charitable Giving Advisor to support our mission of providing vital services to individuals and families in need. This role focuses on cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, fostering philanthropic partnerships, and driving fundraising efforts to sustain and grow A New Leaf's programs in housing, health, and community support.

Annual Salary: $65,000-$75,000 DOE 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a portfolio (~150-200) of mid-level donors ($400 -$999) to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward supporters.
  • Manage a select pool of donors (~50+) who have upgraded their giving to $1000+.
  • Identify donors’ passions and interests, build relationships, and leverage those relationships into meaningful support opportunities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new mid-level donors and create a positive experience for donors who transition to mid-level.
  • Actively participate in the creation and execution of fundraising activities and events, including program tours, donor visits and events hosted by the Philanthropy Team.
  • Communicate the value and impact of A New Leaf while representing our brand to the community.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate custom communication, stewardship, and engagement strategies that successfully retain current mid-level members and upgrade members from mid-level to major gifts.
  • Manage mid-level giving including personalized renewal, upgrades, acquisition, and acknowledgment.
  • Works within the database to track communication, view data, and assist in analyzing data to inform and prioritize individuals and strategies.
  • Meet individual goals as well as help the team reach group revenue goals. 

Qualifications

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • CFRE preferred 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of fundraising experience with a demonstrated record of accomplishment with major gift area.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on major gift fundraising preferred
  • 2+ years of researching and analyzing data to identify top prospects.
  • Demonstrates the ability to create effective, high-quality relationships with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all team members.
  • Ability to use discretion when handling and communicating sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and computer application skills: Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams.
  • Proficiency managing a CRM (prefer Raiser’s Edge/NXT) to maximize relationship management.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills.

  • Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance
  • CLEAN 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
