AZCEND is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Development Manager to focus
on individual giving and events, with a specific emphasis on developing a more mature corporate
partnership program. The Development Manager will be responsible for expanding AZCEND's donor base, managing fundraising events, and fostering strong relationships with corporate partners. This role  requires a strategic thinker, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in achieving fundraising targets.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development, with a focus on
individual giving, events, and corporate partnerships.
● Proven success in meeting or exceeding fundraising goals, including experience with donor
acquisition, retention, and upgrading strategies.

● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with individual
donors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
● Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage
multiple tasks and deadlines.
● Experience in planning and executing fundraising events, including budgeting, logistics, and
donor stewardship.
● Knowledge of best practices in corporate partnership development and experience in identifying
and securing corporate sponsorships or partnerships.
● Familiarity with fundraising software and donor management systems. (Bloomerang preferred)
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate
AZCEND's mission and impact to diverse audiences.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and engage with colleagues,
volunteers, and board members.
● Passion for AZCEND's mission and a commitment to making a positive impact in the
community.
