Are you passionate about mental health and recovery? Do you want to make a difference by supporting kids and communities? notMYkid is looking for a Program Specialist who’s eager to bring their experience and journey to help others thrive.
As a Program Specialist, you’ll deliver prevention programs in schools to build resilience and healthy coping skills. You’ll serve as a positive role model, drawing from your own recovery journey or experiences with mental health. This part-time role offers hands-on experience with programs like Life Skills Training, Catch My Breath, Peer Support, and more!

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma/GED (required).
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card to ensure a safe and secure environment for all participants.
- Able to connect with and relate to youth in a meaningful way, bringing energy and understanding to each interaction.
- At least one year in recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges.
- A passion for working with diverse communities and an understanding of trauma-informed approaches.
- A clear communicator with a positive outlook.
