In collaboration with the department leadership, the Annual Campaign Manager is responsible for the oversight of individual fundraising efforts including: stewardship of current donor relationships; cultivation of new donor prospects; increasing current funding base through all individual giving opportunities. 

Specific Duties

  • Plans and implements donor specific materials for Agency
    1. Updating and preparing letters, recognition items, and managing prospect leads.
    2. Oversight of Fundraising related materials with department leadership
  • Oversight of Donor/Event Related activities including:
    1. Design and implementation of multiple site Agency Tours
    2. Agency Tour guest tracking and Luncheon event table captains  
    3. Oversight of gratitude calls to donors
    4. Assist department leadership in maintenance of Multi Year Giving Society
  • Donor Management related activities:
    1. Oversight of update to donor records.
    2. Create and maintain donor based software system updates and proactively engage in growth strategies utilizing software.
    3. Work with database team to mine and pull data from DonorPerfect for list and strategy purposes and overall donor analysis
    4. Oversee agency donor thank you process and recognition programs
    5. Reviews, recommends and interprets fund development policies as related to donor database and donor interactions;
    6. Create and maintain a DonorPerfect user manual specific for agency practices;
    7. Perform DonorPerfect user support and training for current and new staff.
  • Manage the development of annual plans, manage and grow the individual donor base, create pipeline for major giving and planned gift prospects, and coordinate all aspects of a comprehensive Individual Giving program, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
  • Supervise Database positions
  • Donor Retention, Sponsorship Procurement and Third Party Fundraising.
    1. Identify existing and new client markets and initiate organizational plans in order to educate and raise awareness of CCA programs. 
    2. Speak to individuals and groups for the purpose of soliciting awareness, participation and support.
    3. Provide Community Outreach program oversight to promote donor growth.
    4. Develop and implement initiatives to sustain and grow participation among lapsed, current and new clients.
    5. Search for new opportunities and solicit corporate sponsorships for agency events

Qualifications

  1. Education must consist of a Bachelor’s degree AND 3+ years of experience in Fundraising or Development activities.
  2. An experienced fund-raising professional with experience in successfully developing and implementing individual and with a proven ability to achieve fundraising goals.
  3. Must show proficiency experience in the following computer programs: word processing in a Windows environment, Publisher, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel, Fundraising databases and PowerPoint.
  4. Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of vendors and community liaisons.
  5. Comfortable and confident in frequent in-person interactions with donors. Spreading awareness for the mission and soliciting donations.
