February 2, 2022

As an Experience Matters Encore Fellow, Nancy Knoche has served as Development Coordinator for Az Call A Teen Youth Resources, Inc., as Fund Development Consultant for Phoenix Children Chorus and most recently, as Coordinator of the Age Friendly Arizona project for the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG). In this role, Nancy was instrumental in strengthening relationships with the communities and partners, building capacity within and among stakeholders, planning conferences and training for transporters including transportation services for older adults.

MAG Executive Director, Amy St. Peter stated, “Nancy joined MAG as our first ever Encore Fellow in January 2019. The fellowship generally lasts one year. We were fortunate to have Nancy on our team for three years. During this time, she helped launch the Rural Transportation Incubator, gave presentations to audiences nationwide, and cultivate strong relationships throughout Arizona. Nancy’s last day with MAG was January 20, 2022. We wish her well in her next adventures and thank Nancy for her stellar service to Age Friendly Arizona”.

Nancy Knoche joined the Experience Matters Open Market Encore Fellow talent pool in 2015, after working for over 25 years in the nonprofit arena. Her diverse set of skills and talents led to significant outcomes in project management, fundraising, marketing, and community outreach efforts. Her past experiences include directing large statewide community engagement programs to expand volunteer leadership, program capacity and financial resources for the March of Dimes.
