Job title: Manager- Healthy Families

Do you love to meet new people and want to make a difference in the lives of others? Join Arizona’s largest nonprofit dedicated to early childhood development. Southwest Human Development is seeking a Manager for their Healthy Families program to empower and impact a team of home visitors. This role monitors, supports and collaborates with family support specialists who provide home visiting services to children and their families in Maricopa County. Healthy Families is a program that works with families in their home and delivers services in a fun, engaging, and supportive way to help build stronger families and happy kids.

In this role you will:

  • Implement the Healthy Families model with fidelity and follow all Best Practice Standards as well as program and agency policies and procedures.
  •  Supervise five Family Support Specialists: monitors caseload sizes and billing requirements, ensure program fidelity, provide weekly reflective supervision.
  • Oversees complete, accurate and timely documentation including electronic family records.
  • Collect, analyze, maintain, and report comprehensive data to contract holders and funders.
  • Attend, participate in, and facilitate required trainings and program meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community agencies and partners to share program information and learn about resources available for families. Participate in community outreach activities.
  • Completes Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
  •  Ensure services are sensitive to diverse family dynamics, cultures, and needs.
  • Encourage team building and professional development.
  • Help the team celebrate little and big successes along the way and be passionate about seeing children and families thrive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Prior supervisory and management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of reflective practice and reflective supervision.
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
  • Attention to detail with ability to perform assignments and job responsibilities efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products, virtual platforms, databases, and experience in Efforts to Outcomes a plus!
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
