  • Solo Performances: Perform occasional solos during services or special events as assigned by the Pastor or Choir Director.
  • Rehearsal Tracks: Create and provide rehearsal tracks for the various choir sections to aid in individual practice and section preparation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the other section leaders, the Director of Music & Worship, and other members of the music team to create a cohesive, high-quality choral experience for the congregation.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment as a college student, preferably with a focus in music, vocal performance, or a related field.
  • Strong soprano voice with a clear, beautiful tone and ability to sing both solo and harmonically with others.
  • Previous choral experience required, with a preference for applicants who have served as a section leader or in a leadership capacity.
  • Ability to read music and vocal scores fluently.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide and support fellow choristers.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to the schedule.
  • Must be comfortable singing in a church worship setting and performing solos.
