Our 2026 survey is now live! Every two years, we invite nonprofit organizations in Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties to participate in the Nonprofit Compensation and Benefits Survey, which provides essential data for decision-makers in the nonprofit community.

NEW: Now including Pinal County

The Census Bureau considers the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area to consist of both Maricopa and Pinal counties, which effectively function as one economic unit. Pinal County nonprofits may participate in the survey, and results from Maricopa and Pinal counties will be grouped together. Please select “Maricopa/Pinal County” when filling out the survey.

What's in the report?

The report provides employee compensation data, as well as detailed findings on executives, employee retirement, insurance, paid time off and other benefits. The insights help nonprofits make informed decisions by providing information on salaries and benefits across 50+ position titles, organized by budget size and organization type (human services, education, arts, etc.). We also collect data on remote work, flexible schedules, retention and referral bonuses, and more.

The quality of this report is entirely dependent on the participation of nonprofit organizations. After contributing to this vital resource, please encourage your colleagues at other nonprofits to participate and improve the data for all.

• Qualifying nonprofits that complete the survey receive one complimentary user license for digital access to the report. An additional user license can be purchased for $49.
• The rate for non-participating nonprofit organizations is $399.
• The individual/business rate is $449.
