Understanding Financial Health & Planning Ahead in a Time of Uncertainty

In these unprecedented times, nonprofit organizations are being challenged in a variety of ways, including shifting staffing structures, sudden changes in service delivery or capacity, and a potential loss of revenue. These changes put the financial health and resilience of nonprofits at risk as they navigate the current reality while staying mission-focused. This virtual session will address some of the key areas organizations should focus on and provide tools they can use in the short term, including:

  • Grounding financial decision-making in your values
  • Understanding your current financial position and what current resources are available
  • Levers to increase resources available for immediate response
  • Tools for cash flow for the short term

Following this virtual session, facilitators will be available at no cost to answer participant questions.

An Empathetic Lens for Virtual Engagements: Digital Facilitation for Nonprofit Leaders & Teams

Have you been challenged with the task of engaging your communities and team in the digital world? Using the lens of empathy, this workshop will help you design more intentional and effective virtual engagements. We will start by mapping out the needs and realities of your community and/or team with a custom, visual tool. Then, we will teach you how use these human-centered insights to design better meetings, meet-ups, and events. Build your skills and confidence in planning, facilitating and participating in engaging virtual experiences.
