Jeri Royce serves as President & CEO for Esperança. Jeri is an accomplished leader with a distinguished career leading operational, business development, program development/management and human resource functions. With over 25 years of experience in local and national nonprofit organizations, she has a successful track record of building a leading strong partnerships and highly successful teams . Having founded her own consulting firm, 3P-Leadership, Jeri specializes in leadership development offering training programs, team-building, individual/group coaching services and Interim Executive Director/CEO Services. Jeri is a capacity-building consultant in the Virginia Piper Trust ATLAS and Good Governance programs and has previously served as Interim ED for Lead for Good, Arizona Public Health Association and Arizona Asthma Coalition.
While serving as a senior executive at Points of Light Foundation in Washington, DC, Jeri led the Knowledge Leadership & Model Programs Department, which involved supervising and coaching a staff of 20, managing grants and fundraising efforts and overseeing all programs and a budget in excess of $7M. She was responsible for leading the national conference partnership with the Corporation for National Service which administered a pass-through grant to the Foundation from the Federal Government. Jeri also served on a senior leadership team tasked with overseeing the Foundation’s operations, fiscal health and program development. While serving as Director of Programs & Conferences at the American Symphony Orchestra League, Jeri had extensive experience using her influence to lead member leadership boards, staff and volunteers.
Jeri attended the National Service Leadership Institute and is a Certified John C. Maxwell Coach, Teacher and Speaker. She currently serves as Associate Faculty for the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation teaching High Impact Leadership online and in person and participates in St. Luke’s Health Initiative Community of Practice. Jeri is currently enrolled in Adler International Learning Coaching Certification and has completed The Foundations of Professional Coaching.
Outside of Esperança, Jeri inspires hope in the Valley by serving as a board member for the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and a long-time mentor to an at-risk teen with New Pathways for Youth. She was selected for the prestigious Virginia Piper Fellowship class of 2022.
