IRS Exempt Organizations Workshop
You’re invited to a one-day workshop for small and mid-sized 501(c)(3) organizations!
Presented by the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division of the Internal Revenue Service in Collaboration with the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Innovation
This workshop does not cover how to apply for tax-exempt status or compliance requirements for non 501(c)(3) organizations. For additional information on these topics, please visit www.irs.gov/eo and click on "Other Nonprofits."
The workshop will be limited to 200 participants each day and will be filled first-come, first-served.
Experienced IRS Exempt Organizations Specialists will conduct this one-day workshop that will explain what 501(c)(3) organizations must do to keep their tax-exempt status and comply with tax obligations.
The workshop is designed especially for administrators or volunteers who are responsible for an organization's tax compliance as well as those interested in careers in the nonprofit sector.
A certificate of attendance will be provided by the IRS for recording CPE or CLE credits for CPAs, Lawyers and other individuals requiring proof of attendance.
Topics in this workshop are the "nuts and bolts" of tax-compliance for exempt organizations, and include:
