NMI 112 - Emerging Marketing and Social Media Strategies (Online) September 2018

This ​course ​will ​provide ​principles ​and ​practices ​for ​marketing ​your ​nonprofit ​organization. ​You ​will ​also ​learn ​current ​strategies ​and ​techniques ​for ​successfully ​positioning ​your ​organization ​and ​developing ​a ​marketing ​plan ​that ​includes ​social ​media ​marketing ​strategies. 

Note: Students who are purchasing their courses a la carte have a total of three years from initial registration in the program to meet all of their certificate requirements.

NMI 111 - Impactful Board Governance (Online) April 2018

This ​course ​provides ​a ​comprehensive ​overview ​of ​board ​governance, ​which ​includes ​the ​core ​roles ​and ​responsibilities ​of ​board ​members, ​as ​well ​as ​the ​board’s ​relationship ​to ​the ​CEO ​and ​staff. ​Participants ​will ​learn ​how ​to ​develop ​effective, ​motivated ​board ​members ​who ​are ​accountable ​for ​the ​organization’s ​assets, ​committed ​to ​develop ​a ​diversified ​resource ​base, ​and ​motivated ​to ​champion ​the ​organization ​among ​various ​stakeholders.

NMI 111 - Impactful Board Governance (Phoenix) September 2018

This course provides a comprehensive overview of board governance, which includes the core roles and responsibilities of board members, as well as the board’s relationship to the CEO and staff. Participants will learn how to develop effective, motivated board members who are accountable for the organization’s assets, committed to developing a diversified resource base, and motivated to champion the organization among various stakeholders.

The NMI 111 course will run from September 13th - September 14th (9:00am - 5:00pm both days).

Join us to learn the basics of the fund development process and how to create a plan that will result in effective fundraising strategies for staff and volunteers – even in tough economic times.

During this course, participants will be introduced to current models of leadership and seven core leadership competencies. By using a self-analysis tool, you will identify your leadership strengths and core values. In addition, you will also learn methods for building internal and external relationships and applying those skills to a business setting. Finally, you will also develop a leadership action plan for achieving personal and organizational impact. 

NMI 105 - High Impact Leadership (Phoenix) June 2018

NMI 104 - Engaging and Developing Volunteers (Phoenix) March 2018

In this course, participants will learn how to recruit, manage, motivate, recognize, and reward staff and volunteers in order to effectively utilize their strengths. In addition, volunteer programs require the same type of managerial effort that any other program effort would require and there are many factors to consider in ensuring that the experience is positive for both the volunteer and the organization.
