Sarai Richter will lead Public Allies Phoenix, Lou Haiduk to helm Public Allies Tucson

June 14, 2021 (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Over the last 16 years, the Public Allies Arizona program has grown significantly in size, scale and impact. The ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation is excited to share this staffing update for Public Allies Phoenix and Public Allies Tucson.

First, the Center sends its very best wishes to departing staff: Public Allies Arizona Director Jacob Teskey is relocating to Austin, Texas, and Program Manager Catherine Popovich is starting a new career as a Salesforce specialist. Both Jake and Catherine have been invaluable members of the team, and the Center is grateful for all of their contributions to the program's success.

With a focus on continuous growth and improvement, the Center is seizing this opportunity to reorganize for the greatest results. The Tucson site has matured to the level of the Greater Phoenix program, as a direct result of talented staff in both locations. The Center is thrilled to announce the elevation of two team members to the following director-level roles: Sarai Richter as the Public Allies Greater Phoenix Program Director and Lou Haiduk as the Public Allies Greater Tucson Program Director. Sarai and Lou will serve as Co-Directors of Public Allies Arizona. The Center is hiring new staff to support both the Phoenix and Tucson sites.

Please join in congratulating them as the Center moves into this exciting new chapter of impact for Public Allies Arizona.
