Now accepting applications for Class 11 of the American Express Leadership Academy at the ASU Lodestar Center
Phoenix, Ariz. (March 7, 2018) - The ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation is pleased to announce that the application period is now open for Class 11 of the American Express Leadership Academy at the ASU Lodestar Center.
The American Express Leadership Academy at the ASU Lodestar Center is an unparalleled leadership development experience designed for nonprofit leaders. Approximately 30 individuals will be chosen for this nine-month leadership program that is comprised of best practice approaches to leading and managing nonprofits. Participants will have access to renowned professors and practitioner instructors at ASU as well as established nonprofit leaders from organizations that engage with the ASU Lodestar Center.
Participants will gain:
- knowledge & tools to qualify for a higher-level position;
- an increased awareness and understanding of the nonprofit sector & issues affecting its prosperity;
- leadership skills & opportunities for engagement;
- a broader network of personal and professional relationships; and much more!
Building on the American Express Foundation’s continued investment, Class 11 will also have access to 360-degree feedback assessments, Emergenetics Profile assessment and one-on-one executive coaching. These elements continue to align the American Express Leadership Academy at the ASU Lodestar Center with the other nonprofit leadership academies that American Express supports across the country as part of their strategy to expand programming for nonprofit leaders both nationally and abroad.
Application deadline is May 21, 2018 at: http://lodestar.asu.edu/leadership. Candidates should be seasoned nonprofit leaders or those serving nonprofits.
