Jaime Uzeta was named Public Allies' CEO in August 2018. He was previously a longtime member of the organization's Board of Directors. Jaime has more than 20 years of experience working across sectors and empowering young people through media, technology, education, and public service. Most recently, Jaime worked as Vice President of Innovation and Partnerships at BUILD, a national nonprofit organization that uses entrepreneurship to teach Innovation Era skills to underserved students.
Public Allies Arizona is an AmeriCorps program of the ASU Lodestar Center for Nonprofit Philanthropy and Innovation. Our mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it. We select our communities' most promising young leaders, who commit to a rigorous and rewarding 10-month program of full-time, paid apprenticeships at Phoenix-area community organizations, as well as team service projects, and bi-weekly leadership training
