An introductory certificate, the Grant Development - State and Foundation Proposal Certificate is designed for individuals who wish to begin writing grant proposals for their organization. This certificate will increase your confidence to secure grant funding by learning how to develop a conceptual framework for seeking grant funding that aligns with perspectives and priorities unique to each funder, instilling confidence in your organization’s ability to facilitate a proposed project. This is a fast-paced and intensive course!
Participants in the Grant Development and Proposal Writing State and Foundations Certificate must begin the class with a pre-identified organization for which they will be writing a proposal. This can be a nonprofit for which they work, or a community need for which you want to write a proposal. To be successful in the course, it is essential to be able to:
• Retrieve detailed information from that nonprofit, such as the nonprofit’s mission, programming, budget or 990 forms.
• Have personal knowledge from a previous volunteer or employment situation with a nonprofit or from online research to generate a budget based on the needs of the nonprofit, the project, or the community.
Participants who complete our Grant Development - State and Foundations Proposal Certificate will receive a discount of 25% towards the next immediate Advanced Grant course. Discount will be provided in the form of a discount code after the certificate ends.
This certificate runs seven weeks from Monday January 3, 2022 to Sunday, February 20, 2022.
