Black Canyon Conference Center | Phoenix, Ariz.
The ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation invites you to the 23rd Annual Nonprofit Conference on Sustainability Strategies on October 15, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Black Canyon Conference Center in Phoenix, Ariz. The conference celebrates nearly 25 years of providing education, knowledge and tools to help build the capacity of the nonprofit community. In 2014, this event attracted over 400 nonprofit leaders, managers, executive directors/CEOs, business leaders, ASU alumni, faculty, staff and students. We hope you will join us in 2015!
Participate in an exciting day of purposeful and impactful dialogue about strategies, techniques and methods for building the capacity of your nonprofit organization effectively and efficiently. You will be exposed to a variety of innovative solutions to common problems faced in the nonprofit sector, and gain tools for finding new ways to approach and solve their organization’s challenges.
Conference content is intended to influence the development of solutions to today’s social sector challenges; strengthen the sustainability of nonprofits in the community; and efficiently advance the impact of nonprofits.
Reserve your spot now to be part of the conversation as we dive into engaging dialogue that advances the nonprofit organizations that we lead, serve or volunteer for... Take away key tips, tricks, and real-time solutions for everyday challenges we face, both personally and professionally.
In an interactive session titled, “Our Common Purpose: A Conversation with Neil Giuliano” our invited presenter will share insights from his years of experience as a nonprofit executive, elected official, book author, senior official in higher education and leader/activist. Successful nonprofit organizations of the future will be led by those who are boundary spanners and who can work across the nonprofit, government and business sectors to achieve social impact. Exploring such ideas and engaging attendees in the discussion will be a highlight of this keynote plenary session by one of Arizona’s most notable leaders and champion of the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.
Workshops, workshops and more workshops!
Nearly 40 innovative workshops will be available to choose from during the conference! After much success with our new “advanced” track of workshops that were made available in 2014, attendees can expect to be able to attend "advanced learning" workshops again in 2015. These sessions are designed specifically for experienced changemakers in our sector (with 10+ years of experience).
