Thank you to all nonprofits who took the time to complete the survey portion of this important research initiative.
This report provides valuable compensation data across 50+ nonprofit job positions, as well as findings on employee retirement, insurance, paid time off, and other benefits. This study, compiled every three years, helps nonprofits to make informed decisions by providing information on salaries and benefits for dozens of position titles, organized by budget size and organization type (arts, education, etc.). The 2016 Nonprofit Compensation and Benefits Report focuses only on Arizona nonprofit organizations that are based in Maricopa County or Pima County, hold IRS-defined 501(c)3 status, employ at least one full-time paid staff member and are NOT hospitals, private grantmaking foundations, or higher education institutions.
$499 = For-profit Companies
$349 = Nonprofit Organizations
At A New Leaf, we find the advantages of the Nonprofit Compensation & Benefits survey innumerable. The use of this quantitative information allows us to engage in strategic, data-based, high-level planning for a more effective business model, create targeted marketing strategies, improve employee satisfaction and enhance customer service.
This survey is extremely useful in describing the characteristics of a large population. The research method can provide a diverse sample and gather targeted results upon which to draw conclusions and make important decisions, but its success is largely dependent upon the number of data sources from which it draws.
I encourage you to both complete and utilize this comprehensive survey. You’ll find the results extremely helpful in your agency’s growth and setting priorities for your agency’s strategic planning.
